The Crossroads to Texas Quilt Guild fosters an appreciation of the art and skill of quilting and brings together quilters of all ability levels. The guild encourages members to share their knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm with the public through meetings, quilting bees, and our bi-annual quilt show.
We are currently meeting at the Harker Heights Methodist Church, 208 West Cardinal Lane, Harker Heights, Texas on the second Monday of each month. Fellowship begins at 6:30 p.m. with our meeting starting at 7 p.m

“What Does a Judge Do?”
Monday, April 10, 2017
Quilt Judge and guest speaker Connie Silber will give a hands-on talk on what judges look for in quilts
Tuesday, April 11th, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Harker Heights Methodist Church
This class is a hands-on practice of the basic finishes used for most quilts. Accurate application of mitered borders will be demonstrated. Participants are encouraged to bring a project they may have at the border stage. If you bring a center ready for borders, bring border and binding fabrics so that you can start the cutting process for the finished quilt in class. During the class, we will cut and apply basic bindings and learn how to execute the elusive 90° mitered corner. Experienced as well as novice quilters will benefit from the tips, techniques, and methods demonstrated. Space is limited. Preregister today. Materials list sent upon registration.
