Rebecca Cook is an American Quilter’s Society Certified Quilt Appraiser and a member of the Professional Association of Appraisers, Quilted Textiles who has completed over 25+ years of independent study of both antique and contemporary quilted textiles. Having graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Rebecca has an insight into women’s history that provides additional perspectives on quilted textiles. Rebecca has appraised at International, national, and local quilt shows held in the United States. In addition, Rebecca continues to stay abreast of current marketplace conditions within the quilting industry and comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
Rebecca offers appraisals for antique, vintage, and contemporary quilts as well as non-traditional quilts. After the client has provided information on the quilt, Rebecca will research and analyze information to determine the value of the quilt. Appraisals are confidential between the appraiser and the client.
